Problem for Partizan is the injury of their captain, Kevin Punter, who coach Zeljko Obradovic won’t be able to count on for the next two weeks.
After the win against Crvena Zvezda in the fifth round of the EuroLeague, Partizan’s coach spoke about the captain’s condition and said:
“Kevin Punter is going for an examination tomorrow; he’s feeling pain in both legs, and I want to thank him for playing the match.”
After the examination, it was announced that Punter will be sidelined for 14 days.
“The captain of KK Partizan suffered an injury during last night’s derby, which will keep him off the court in the coming period. Punter sustained a lower back injury and a significant blow to the knee on the other leg.
The nature of the injury is such that, according to the initial prognosis, the captain of the black and white team will be out of the lineup for a minimum of two weeks,” Partizan announced.
