A concern for Svetislav Pesic, as it appears Nemanja Nedovic miss the FIBA World Cup in the Philippines, with the reason still unknown.
According to meridiansport.rs, a Red Star Belgrade player withdrew from the Serbian national team. After playing 23 scoreless minutes in the 32nd Aegean Acropolis Tournament, Nemanja Nedovic tells this information to coach Pesic. Before him, Nikola Jokic and Vasilije Micic did the same, and Vladimir Lucic and Nikola Kalinic will also not be traveling to the Philippines.
Due to injury, the Serbian player missed crucial matches at the 2020 European Championship. The team’s greatest achievement was reaching the finals of the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
The FIBA World Cup will be played from August 25th to September 10th in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Japan. Serbia will play in group B, with South Sudan, China and Puerto Rico.
