Real Madrid has defeated Obradoiro on their home court by 79:69 in the Liga Endesa 31st round, securing their 26th win.
Although Real Madrid was considered a huge favorite before the game, Obradoiro managed to keep pace with the European champions throughout the entire first half. Despite the home team winning the first quarter 28:20, Obradoiro played excellent defense in the second quarter and won it 17:10. However, Chus Mateo’s team didn’t leave anything to chance, as they dictated the pace with a secure game in the second half and ultimately deservedly won.
The top scorer for the winning team was Dzanan Musa with 13 points, followed by Fabien Causeur with 12 and Guersshon Yabusele with 11 points. In Obradoiro, Thomas Scrubb was by far the best performer with 25 points, with Artem Pustovyi being the only other player in double digits with 11 points.
After this win, Real Madrid is in first place with a record of 26-5 and one game more than Unicaja, which has the same number of losses and one fewer win. Obradoiro is currently second to last with only 8 wins and 23 losses.
