There was a big question mark over how Real Madrid would react after their loss to Panathinaikos in the EuroLeague final, but they achieved a routine win in the series opener. It turned out that the same scenario played out in the Game 2.
Dzanan Musa led the winning team with 18 points, matched by Sergio Llull, while Walter Tavares contributed 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Mario Hezonja filled the stat sheet with 10 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
On the losing side, Jan Vesely scored 24 points with excellent shooting percentages (10/14). Tomas Satoransky recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists.
The next game is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, when Barcelona will host for the first time in this semifinal series at Blaugrana. In the other semifinal, Unicaja is on the brink of elimination, trailing 2-0 against Murcia.
