Reggie Miller, former Indiana Pacers player, commented on Tyrese Haliburton and some of the accusations being directed at him.
After some brilliant performances in the series against the New York Knicks, Tyrese Haliburton got into minor arguments with the crowd in New York. There was some so-called trash talk, leading to Haliburton suddenly being labeled as someone who only does that when his team is ahead, a so-called ‘frontrunner’.
Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller defended the current star of the team.
“You can make a case the Knicks were frontrunning and trash-talking. In Game 2, they didn’t start chanting until the game was in hand. Josh Hart didn’t come over to me until the game was in hand,” Miller said.
The Indiana Pacers managed to defeat the New York Knicks 4-3 in the series and advance to the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. However, they currently don’t have the right answers for the Boston Celtics. In game two, Haliburton suffered an injury, and the Celtics lead the series 2-0.
