Reggie Miller, the renowned NBA player and one of the greatest shooters of all time, was a guest on Dan Patrick’s podcast.
During the conversation, Reggie Miller touched upon Nikola Jokic, and the main topic of discussion was the MVP recognition and where the Serbian basketball player ranks among the greatest centers of all time.
“If he receives his third MVP award in four years and obviously if he wins the championship, he will likely also receive the MVP Finals award. He is standing in front of completely different doors when it comes to the Hall of Fame and the conversation about the greatest players because we see him in a slightly different light in that regard. In terms of centers, he is on that shorter list.
You have Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon, and maybe you can also include Moses Malone in that list. But Jokic will be on that shorter list if he wins another title, becomes the MVP of the finals, and the MVP of the regular season. That would be three times in four years,” said the former Indiana Pacers player.
