Rick Carlisle, the head coach of the Indiana Pacers, was furious with the referees after the loss in the Game 2 against the New York Knicks.
The New York Knicks defended their home court and took a 2-0 lead in the series against the Indiana Pacers. Both games were marked by questionable refereeing decisions, especially towards the end of the game. Rick Carlisle was furious after the Game 2.
“I’m always talking to our guys about not making it about the officials. But, we deserve a fair shot. There’s not a consistent balance, and that’s disappointing. Give the New York Knicks credit for the physicality that they are playing with. But, their physicality is rewarded, and ours is penalized time after time. I’m just really disappointed,” said Carlisle.
The next game in the NBA playoffs between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks is scheduled for May 11th at 1:00 AM.
