Then he emphasized that he was familiar with European basketball even before deciding to go “across the pond.”
“I was well acquainted with European basketball before coming to Milano. I like to stay informed, increase my knowledge of the game, and follow many former teammates who came here before me. I already knew what it means to play for Real Madrid or Milano and that this is a club that has left a great historical legacy, winning championships and, of course, behaving in Europe over the past few years.”
He continued in the same breath:
“We’re talking about basketball at the highest level, so when the opportunity arose, I didn’t miss it. Basketball in Europe is physically demanding, but in the end, even with different rules and styles of play, the goal is always to score. I like the atmosphere of sports arenas, which takes me back to my college days, you feel the passion, and nothing is taken for granted. Every game is important, it’s really challenging.”
