Fenerbahce had an eight-point lead on several occasions, but the game entered into a tense finale. Due to circumstances, they had a chance to win, but they failed. Monaco won 65:62, forcing a decider in the Principality to determine the Final Four participant.
The Lithuanian coach commented on the gesture of the fans from the front rows who attacked Monaco’s players after the match, dedicating his opening words with an apology.
