Sasa Obradovic has expressed his expectations ahead of the third round of the EuroLeague in which Monaco is visiting Crvena Zvezda.
The Serbian coach emphasizes that the Belgrade Red-Whites have a better team than the previous season and that his players can expect a tough away game at the Stark Arena.
“Games against Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade are always tough. Their team is stronger than the previous season. It’s a big challenge to play against them at this moment. It’s up to us to analyze the opponent and prepare for the match, but this phase of the season shows how important it is to focus on ourselves. If we want the result to go in our favor, we must primarily focus on our game and decisions on the court,” Sasa Obradovic stated.
Monaco player Elie Okobo followed the coach’s words with his thoughts:
“We all know the value of Crvena Zvezda in the EuroLeague. It’s always tough to play against that team. We have to show a different face compared to the first two games, and we definitely can do that. Not everyone was there during the preparations, so we need to put in a lot of effort to reach the desired level.”
