Sasa Obradovic previews the game in the second round of the EuroLeague between Monaco and Virtus Bologna.
The Serbian coach emphasizes the need to approach the match against the Italian giants with extreme caution, given that they have a coach who is well acquainted with ‘Les Rouges et Blancs‘ (The Princes).
“The team needs to raise its level of play in the EuroLeague and find the right chemistry. Valencia was the first game, and now we need to put it behind us and focus on new challenges. Virtus is a good team with a coach who knows Monaco exceptionally well. It’s too early to say that we have pressure on our shoulders,” said Sasa Obradovic.
The basketball player from the Principality, Yakuba Ouattara, followed the coach’s comments:
“Valencia scored 20 points against us from offensive rebounds, and I think that was our best lesson. We must show fighting spirit and desire. Virtus is a very aggressive defensive team, and their coach knows Monaco well. We are still on our way to reaching our highest level, but determination must compensate for some of our shortcomings.”
The match between Monaco and Virtus is scheduled for Friday, starting at 7:00 PM.
