Sasa Obradovic shared his impressions at the press conference after Monaco’s win over Fenerbahce in EuroLeague Round 25.
The Serbian coach was extremely pleased with the effort of his team, particularly highlighting John Brown, whom he considered to have played his best game in the colors of Monaco.
“Today we played with heart, and the effort of our players was at an incredible level, especially in the last quarter. Many of our players contributed today, and John Brown may have played his best game of his career in Monaco. He closed every gap in defense, stole balls, and played with constant intensity. It’s evident that the team’s chemistry is improving with each game, approaching the team atmosphere we had last season. We’ve experienced many ups and downs at the beginning of the season.”
“The return of our absent players and maintaining our team’s overall health were significant factors in the success we’ve achieved. Now, we are on the right path and need to sustain this momentum to win even more games. Currently, we have gained a very good rhythm. Of course, it’s challenging to maintain it due to the frequency of our games.
I am proud of the effort our players put in during the last quarter, it was a clear sign of the positive atmosphere we have built within the team. Everyone who entered the game contributed, and everyone on the bench, including the reserves, had a smile on their face. Today, we made a difference not only with tactics but also with our sheer determination,” said Sasa Obradovic.
In the next round, Monaco will be away against Virtus.
