Sergio Llull, a member of Real Madrid, shared his impressions after the win in the first game of the EuroLeague quarterfinal series against Baskonia.
The team from the capital of Spain celebrated by 90:74 for a 1-0 lead in the series. They are now two wins away from reaching the Final Four. It should be noted that the injured Chima Moneke did not play for Baskonia, which greatly influenced the final outcome of this game.
“Surpassing a legend like Juan Carlos Navarro is incredible. The most important thing is that we won the first game and continue towards our goal. I always give my maximum effort and play with all my heart. I am proud of everything I have achieved in my career, and I hope to play for several more years,” said Sergio Llull.
He contributed to the win with eight points and three assists, hitting two three-pointers to surpass the legend of Spanish basketball. Sergio Llull now has 624 made three-pointers in the EuroLeague out of 403 games played. Navarro has 623 made long-range shots in 341 games played.
