Shabazz Napier, a player for Milano and the hero of the team’s win under Ettore Messina, spoke after his winning shot, leading to a big celebration for Milano.
The American took the ball with 5.3 seconds left and made a tough shot for Milano’s win, and he spoke after the significant triumph.
“My job is to create for others in this team, I feel that’s my duty. I managed to take some shots myself in the second half. I think it’s precisely because the guys were scoring, and that opened things up for me. Devon Hall played great offense and defense, as did Shavon Shields and Mirotic. Our big guys also did a great job,” said Shabazz Napier.
The decisive play
“The decisive play was drawn up with a lot of dribbling. I couldn’t pass the ball to the left side, it was chaotic there, so I had to take the shot, and it went in.”
