Sterling Brown is no longer a player for Alba Berlin, as confirmed by the club through their social media channels.
The American has parted ways with the team in yellow. Alba Berlin announced the termination of their collaboration, and the sports director of the “Albatroses” bid him farewell.
“Sterling Brown has greatly contributed to the team with his dedication and professionalism to secure victories until the end. We thank him for his time in Berlin and wish him all the best in the future,” said Himar Ojeda.
The NBA-experienced player averaged 12.4 points per game last season and reportedly utilized an exit clause in his contract. He has previously played in the NBA for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, and Milwaukee Bucks.
This is the first departure from the German club this summer, while so far, only Will McDowell-White has arrived in Berlin.
