In the recent season, Brown’s NBA appearances were limited, with just four games played for the Los Angeles Lakers. The majority of his time was devoted to the G League, particularly with the Raptors 905. There, he showcased strong performances, averaging 15.7 points on a 49% shooting, along with 7.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.
During the 2021-22 season, Brown was a part of the Dallas Mavericks alongside Luka Doncic, contributing an average of 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 49 games.
Brown holds NBA career averages of 5.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. He becomes the fourth addition to ALBA’s roster, following Justin Bean, Matt Thomas, and Matteo Spagnolo.
“I’ve liked Sterling since I saw him play live for the first time in 2017,” said Himar Ojeda, ALBA Sporting Director.
“So I’m all the happier to finally have him on our team. With his skills, he will help us in many ways, although it will take him some time to get used to European basketball. We want to make this transition as easy as possible for him and help him make the best use of his all-round abilities.”
