Svetislav Pesic, the coach of the Serbian national team, spoke on the podcast “Iznad terena” about many things related to the national team.
The main question for the coach of the Serbian national team this summer will be whether Nikola Jokic will compete for his country at the Olympic Games in Paris.
“I’m not bothered anymore when they ask me, now I say, call him and ask him. As for Nikola Jokic, the only thing that bothers me is that they don’t ask about the others. The participation of Nikola Jokic certainly means a lot, in every sense. From the aspect of individual quality and from the aspect of personality, as Jokic is. When I say that Jokic is a better guy than a player, they all faint. Like, you’re flattering Jokic. Of course, I am, because I want to emphasize that,” said Svetislav Pesic.
Reminder, in Paris, Serbia will be in Group C with the USA, South Sudan, and the winner of the qualification tournament in Puerto Rico.
