Sweden led from start to finish. Bulgaria had a single-digit deficit for most of the game, but Sweden made 6:0 and 9:2 runs in the fourth quarter, deservedly securing the win.
The top scorer for Sweden was Melwin Pantzar with 16 points. The best player for Bulgaria was Codi Miller-McIntyre with 21 points. Sweden is now second in Group D, while Bulgaria is in third place.
Germany defeated Montenegro by 85:61.
Germany built a crucial lead in the first quarter, leading by 28:10. The situation on the court didn’t change much in the second quarter, and Germany went into halftime with a lead by 47:30. Montenegro outperformed their opponents during the third period, reducing the deficit to eight points by the end of it (58:50). Germany started the fourth quarter much better and ultimately secured a important win.
Oscar Da Silva finished the game with 19 points. The top scorer for Montenegro was Kendrick Perry with 16 points.
Lithuania defeated Poland by 83:64 (Group H).
Poland was better than Lithuania during the first 10 minutes (19:16). Lithuania managed to score two three-pointers at the end of the first half to take a five-point lead heading into halftime (35:30). Lithuania was much superior to Poland during the remaining 20 minutes and deservedly secured the win.
The top player for Lithuania was Osvaldas Olisevicius with 20 points. Michal Sokolowski finished the game as the best player for Poland with 26 points.
