T.J. Parker has filed a lawsuit against Asvel in the Labor Court in order to promptly receive all outstanding payments.
According to Basketball Europe’s information, T.J. Parker is determined to collect all overdue payments from the club. The French coach reportedly had a contract “worth” 500,000 euros (two seasons), or 250,000 euros per season, so Asvel could indeed run into trouble if it had to pay the full amount.
On the other hand, Le Progres claims that the Industrial Tribunal is determined to set a deadline (mid-June) for the two sides to resolve the dispute in a different way.
Recall that T.J. Parker spent his entire coaching career at Asvel. At the beginning of the current season, he was dismissed, and Gianmarco Pozzecco took his place, who also did not stay in the club for too long.
