After a strong performance last year with Xinjiang Flying Tigers, Tacko Fall has decided to continue his presence in China for the upcoming year.
The towering Senegalese has chosen to prolong his stay in China, this time with a different team. Fall has signed with the Nanjing Monkey Kings, according to Shams Charania.
During his time with the Flying Tigers last year, he averaged 13.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, and an impressive 3.3 blocks per game.

Although the 229-centimeter-tall center caught the attention of NBA teams, he wasn’t drafted in 2019. Fall did manage to secure an NBA contract, signing with the Boston Celtics. He played only 24 games over two seasons with the team.
He also had a stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers before embarking on his journey to China. Fall has been quite candid about his experience in the Far East:
“They play really tough, especially if you’re a foreigner. The whole focus is on you. I jokingly told my friends to guard me like Stephen Curry because they literally follow you from one end of the court to the other. It’s incredible,” the towering Senegalese emphasized.
The towering center also had a tryout this summer with the Milwaukee Bucks in the summer league. Unfortunately, he didn’t secure a spot on the team, leading to his return to the NBA’s strongest league.
