Team USA has finalized its roster of 12 players who will represent the nation at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The last name on the list is Kawhi Leonard.
Yesterday, Team USA announced the names of 11 players who will be part of the Dream Team at the upcoming Olympic Games, and now we have learned about the final addition. It’s Kawhi Leonard, as reported by Shams Charania.
Alongside Leonard, in the team coached by Steve Kerr, will be LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Anthony Davis, Bam Adebayo, Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton and Jrue Holiday.
Team USA has won four consecutive gold medals at the Olympic Games, with the last time they failed to win gold being in 2004 when they were eliminated by Argentina in the semifinals.
Once again, they will be the absolute favorites for the gold medal. This will be LeBron James’ first appearance for the national team since 2012, while Kevin Durant has the opportunity to become the most successful player ever in a USA jersey with four gold medals from the Olympic Games (currently has three).
