Tenerife defeated Peristeri in the first game of the FIBA Champions League Final Four by 97:93, securing their spot in the final.
Before the game, Tenerife was considered a slight favorite due to their objectively stronger lineup, but this wasn’t evident at the beginning, as Vassilis Spanoulis‘ team played excellently and took a 23:19 lead after the first 10 minutes.
Their opponent responded strongly in the second quarter, matching them step for step, so the teams went into halftime with the score 44:43 in favor of the Spanish team, keeping the game in a more or less even balance.
