Tenerife played an interesting game against Zaragoza whom they beat 106:100, while in the Bundesliga Bonn beat Ulm in overtime.
The “Canaries” beat Zaragoza in a great game that was back and fourt and exciting affair. The away team almost wasted a 15 point lead, but in the fourth quarter they had a 6:0 run which decided the game. Tenerife are now fifth on the Endesa League table. Andorra also beat Girona decidingly 93:66.
Unicaja played another great game and they showed again that they are the most in-form team in Spain. They beat Obradorio 90:78. Palencia surprisingly beat Gran Canaria easily 82:58.
Bonn and Ulm played a overtime thriller. Ulm had a 75:61 lead before the fourth quarter, but Bonn had other ideas. They played exceptionally well in the final quarter, erasing the deficit, and Noah Kirkwood’s basket with six seconds left secured overtime.In the extra five minutes, the visitors led 97-95, and then Harald Frey took matters into his own hands, scoring four consecutive points and guiding his team to a significant victory.
