Nikola Jokic delivered another standout performance and led the Denver Nuggets to the win against Memphis Grizzlies, 128:103.
The Serbian basketball player had missed the previous game against the Portland Trail Blazers, but against the Memphis Grizzlies, he demonstrated for three quarters, during his 30 minutes of play, why he had skipped the previous game as a precautionary measure.
Tonight, the team was without Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray. However, even without them, Denver Nuggets managed to secure the win, primarily thanks to Nikola Jokic.
In his 30 minutes on the court, he scored 29 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out eight assists, shooting 11/18 from the field. Interestingly, Jokic did not enter the game in the final quarter. He was followed by Christian Braun with 17 points and Reggie Jackson, who contributed 15 points.
On the home team, without their star player Ja Morant and a lot ot injured players, Lamar Stevens scored 19 points. Scotty Pippen Jr. contributed 17 and Desmond Bane added 15 points.
Fifth consecutive loss
The Charlotte Hornets suffered their fifth consecutive loss, falling to the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-92. In the defeated team, Vasilije Micic was starter. He played 30 minutes, and scored two points along with the same number of rebounds and four assists.
Aleksej Pokusevski had his best game since joining the Hornets. He finished with 11 points on 4/7 shooting (1/2 from three-point range), five rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block in 19 minutes on the court.

The Dallas Mavericks claimed a victory over the Utah Jazz last night, 115-105, behind Luka Doncic’s triple-double performance, who scored 29 points, grabbed 13 assists, and secured 12 rebounds. Lauri Markkanen led Utah with 34 points.
