Toronto Raptors’ coach, Darko Rajakovic, was in the spotlight after the game between his team and the San Antonio Spurs.
Rajakovic with the Canadian team, managed to come back from a 20-point deficit and secure the win after an additional five minutes of play, in the context of the NBA league.
All of this alongside a new outstanding performance by Scottie Barnes, who recorded 30 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists and has already emerged as one of the standout individuals at the beginning of the league.

In such a turn of events, San Antonio Spurs’ head coach, Gregg Popovich, was not immune to praising Rajakovic with carefully chosen words.
“He’s one of those who fly under the radar. He doesn’t seek attention or anything of the sort, but he has a brilliant mind. Not just when it comes to basketball. He understands the game, is heading in the right direction. He learned a lot in Europe and continued in the same direction when he came here. He’s good with people, very straightforward, honest. You can always rely on him,” said the legendary coach.
To remind, Rajakovic worked as a scout for the San Antonio Spurs nearly two decades ago.
