Tofas played an excellent match at home and defeated Cholet by 84-71, while Pinar Karsiyaka was better than Peristeri by 93-88.
Cholet failed to break their two-game losing streak on their visit to Turkey in the FIBA Champions League. Although they had an equal score during the first quarter, it seemed that the outcome was decided by halftime. The outstanding performance by Caleb Homesley led Tofas’ attack during those moments, and the hosts went into halftime with a significant 11-point lead.
The guests attempted to stage a comeback with better defense, but Tofas quickly found a solution for that as well, managing to control the match comfortably until the end and secure their second victory in Group I.
The top scorer for the winning team was Homesley, who scored 22 points, while Austin Wiley added 16 points and 10 rebounds. On the other side, Craig Randall scored 14 points.
Currently, they occupy the second place with a record of two wins and one loss, and in the next round, they will visit Cholet, who has one win and two losses in the competition so far.
