Darko Rajakovic recorded another win on the Toronto Raptors’ bench, this time defeating the Indiana Pacers – 132:131.
The Indiana Pacers had a much better start, quickly gaining a double-digit lead. However, the team led by Darko Rajakovic managed to find the right rhythm and reduce the deficit before the end of the first quarter – 35:27. Toronto capitalized on the home team’s empty minutes in the middle of the second quarter, turning the score in their favor by halftime – 68:65.
The third quarter passed in complete parity, and the best illustration of this was the score before the final 12 minutes of the game in Indianapolis – 101:100. The brilliant Tyrese Haliburton put Indiana in a position with a seven-point lead four minutes before the end of the match. However, the Canadian guests, with two mini-runs, managed to turn the game around and secure an important triumph.
Tyrese Haliburton was the top scorer for the Indiana Pacers with 33 points, while Pascal Siakam stood out for the Toronto Raptors with 36, and Dennis Schröder added 26 points along with five assists.
Indiana Pacers remains seventh in the Eastern Conference with a record of 8-6, while Toronto Raptors are now in the 10th position in the NBA with seven wins and eight losses.
