It was only a matter of time before the Toronto Raptors and Immanuel Quickley reached a new contract agreement. On Friday morning, reports confirmed the deal.
According to ESPN’s NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Toronto Raptors have signed Immanuel Quickley to a five-year, $175 million contract. The agreement, negotiated by his agent Raymond Brothers, solidifies Quickley’s role as a central figure in the franchise.

Quickley joined the Raptors from the New York Knicks as part of the OG Anunoby trade earlier this year. Teaming up with RJ Barrett, the former Knicks duo now forms a new core for the Raptors alongside Scottie Barnes.
Just this week, Barnes secured a massive contract extension with the team as well, agreeing to a five-year rookie supermax deal potentially worth up to $270 million. The Raptors are confident this trio will guide them back to the top.
Although the 2023-24 season was challenging, the team showed promise. Quickley, taking on a full-time starting role for the first time in his career, performed admirably.
In 38 games with the Raptors, all as a starter, Quickley averaged 18.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game. These stats, projected over an entire season, would mark career highs for the former first-round pick.
