Tristan Vukcevic has officially concluded his European mission, at least for now, as confirmed today.
Since the moment the power forward joined the summer league, there have been rumors that the Washington Wizards are very pleased with his performance and are eager to bring him into the team quickly. This turned out to be true, as the Wizards activated the buyout clause, and the talented basketball player is moving to Washington.
This information was confirmed by Partizan on their social media channels, along with the statement that the club will receive the appropriate compensation, which will be shared with Real Madrid. It’s worth noting that the Spanish club previously released Vukcevic to Belgrade for free, but with an agreement to potentially share any future compensation.
This season, Vukcevic played 12 games in the EuroLeague, averaging 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. This was his third year with Partizan, following three years with Real Madrid.
