In a way, he did just that, as he received a contract, albeit a two-way one. This means he will have to prove himself in the Wizards’ affiliate and demonstrate his skills while playing for the Capital City Go-Go.
Vukcevic made 10 appearances for the Wizards at the end of the season, averaging 8.5 points and 3.6 rebounds.
In his career, besides playing for the Washington Wizards and Partizan, he also played for Real Madrid, where he was a member from 2019 to 2022.
Another former Partizan basketball player has found a place in the NBA, as PJ Dozier signed a one-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
