Turkey convincingly defeated Sweden on their home court by 105:84. In the finals, they will face Croatia, who had earlier overcome Ukraine.
After an initial display of competitive play, Turkey quickly established a double-digit lead. Alperen Sengun was the catalyst for the home team’s run, as they held a 24-14 advantage two minutes before the end of the first quarter. The Turkish team continued in the same rhythm throughout the match, extending their lead to 14 points by halftime.
To remove any doubt about the question of the winner, Kenan Sipahi and Sehmuz Hazer took charge. With consecutive points, they initiated a new series that extended Turkey’s lead to a 20-point advantage. Consequently, they smoothly closed out the match, preventing the Swedes from complicating the situation.
