Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers player, spoke to the media after his team’s win over the New York Knicks in Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals.
Tyrese Haliburton played a great game, leading his team with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in just 27 minutes on the court. The Indiana Pacers recorded their second most convincing playoff win in franchise history, with the only more decisive win being against the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2018, with a 34-point margin for the Pacers. At one point in this game, the Indiana team had a lead of 43 points.
“I think we all just communicated, just not being so amped that the score was what it was. Just understanding that at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how much you win or lose by, it’s a win or a loss – that’s all that really matters.
All we did was win a game and handle our business at home truthfully. And now going back to the Garden where we lost two—felt like we should’ve gotten a win there—so we gotta be prepared to go 48 minutes when we get there,” Haliburton said.
The series is now tied 2-2 after the New York Knicks won the first two games at Madison Square Garden, and their opponent also defended their home court twice. The next game is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 2:00 AM.
