Tyrese Haliburton, a player for the Indiana Pacers, spoke to the media after his team’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks by 115:92.
It was an extremely poor game for the Indiana Pacers. They had a great opportunity to finish the NBA playoff series in front of their away fans, but they couldn’t manage it. It’s a huge disappointment considering the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard from the opposing team.
However, the Pacers couldn’t find a solution to Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis, who each scored 29 points. On the Pacers’ side, Tyrese Haliburton was the top scorer, but even his performance wasn’t at the required level. He was aware of this himself after the game, highlighting that the Bucks dominated his team.
“We’ve just got to understand that they’re a team that’s on the brink of their season being done, and they’re playing desperate, they’re playing hard, as they should be. At the end of the day, they outcompeted us tonight. They played harder. They played better. They kind of just dominated us in every facet of the game tonight“, Haliburton said.
“We just didn’t play with the consistent compete level we needed to. I’ll take responsibility for that. I didn’t have these guys ready the way they needed to be ready to play this game“, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said.
