Unicaja secured their fourth victory of the season in the Endesa League by defeating Breogan 87-70 in the seventh round.
Breogan had a better start and took an early 6-0 lead. They maintained their lead throughout the first quarter, going up by seven points. Unicaja had an excellent second quarter, staging a comeback with much-improved play on both ends of the court, taking an 11-point lead into halftime.
The home team opened the second half impressively, extending their lead to 16 points. They maintained their advantage throughout the third quarter, entering the final period with a ten-point lead. Breogan attempted a comeback, but Unicaja comfortably closed out the game.
Nihad Djedovic led his team to victory with 16 points, while Matas Jogela scored 16 points for Breogan, and Stefan Momirov had nine points.
Girona emerged victorious over Murcia in a thrilling finish with a score of 82-76.
In the first half, the home team displayed excellent defense and held a 38-28 lead. However, Murcia staged a comeback in the third quarter, taking a seven-point lead. Girona managed to respond, winning the final period 33-20 and securing the victory.
Markel Brown led his team to victory with 29 points, while Dylan Ennis was the top scorer for Murcia with 18 points.
