Valencia managed to defeat Murcia on the road by 83:72 in Game 2 of the Liga Endesa quarterfinal series.
Valencia was backed into a corner after losing the first game at home, and Murcia had the opportunity to secure a spot in the semifinals on their home court.
However, they failed to do so, and the decisive game in Valencia, scheduled for Saturday, will determine which team advances to the final four.
Valencia started the game strongly and had a nine-point lead after the first quarter. The home team managed to reduce the gap to seven points by halftime and continued that trend in the third quarter. However, in the final ten minutes, Valencia regained their form and secured the victory.
Brandon Davies led Valencia with 17 points, Jaime Pradilla scored 14, and Stefan Jovic added 13 points and nine assists. Dustin Sleva led Murcia with 12 points, while Dylan Ennis and Nemanja Radovic each scored 10 points.
In the remaining quarterfinal series, Real Madrid eliminated Gran Canaria with a 2-0 series victory, as did Unicaja against Manresa. Barcelona leads Tenerife 1-0.
