France will host the biggest sports event, and for the Olympic Games, they have gathered 19 players on the expanded roster.
After their underwhelming performance in the last major competition, the FIBA World Cup, the “Les Bleus” now aim to make a better impression. It’s mentioned that this could be the last major tournament for one member of the team, coach Vincent Collet.
Coach Collet will be present in Paris, but one individual won’t be – Thomas Huertel, as reported by “L’Equipe,” won’t be in the selection for the Olympic Games.
France informed the public via social media about the preliminary roster, which includes 19 individuals competing for a spot in the Olympic Games.
Leading them is the new NBA superstar Victor Wembanyama, joined by Rudy Gobert, Andrew Albicy, Nicolas Batum, Isaia Cordinier, Bilal Coulibaly, Ousmane Dieng, Nando de Colo, Evan Fournier, Kilian Hayes, Nadir Hifi, Jaylen Hoard, Mathias Lessort, Theo Maledon, Vincent Poirier, Elie Okobo, Frank Ntilikina, Matthew Strazel, and Guerschon Yabusele.
