Victor Wembanyama shared his impressions after the defeat of the San Antonio Spurs against the Denver Nuggets – 132:120.
The Frenchman played a masterful game, but it wasn’t enough for the Texas team to achieve triumph in Colorado. Victor Wembanyama finished the game with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
The biggest obstacle for the representative of the ‘Tricolors’ was Nikola Jokic, who was one assist away from a new triple-double performance (39 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists).
“I think I’ve learned a lot (from Jokic), and I’ll definitely learn even more when I watch the game tape. I think it’s an important experience, but it would have been better if we had won. I can see why they won, they are a well-balanced team, know each other very well. It’s a big challenge. Every game against them will be like that, in Denver, everyone knows their role, they are a good team.”
The Denver Nuggets are currently fourth in the Western Conference standings with a record of 11 wins and six losses, while San Antonio Spurs is at the bottom with a record of 3-14.
