By the end of the first quarter, the visitors managed to make a comeback, reducing the deficit to four points thanks to a strong offensive performance. The second period saw the Atlanta Hawks dominating, and they went into halftime with a 60-51 lead.
In the second half, the team from Florida played much better. The home team, through their defense, managed to turn the game around and take a seven-point lead. The Atlanta Hawks did not give up until the end of the game. They trailed 105-101 in the closing moments, but Saddiq Bey’s points forced the game into overtime.

In the additional five minutes, Orlando Magic had a better start, building a six-point lead with an 8-2 run. The visiting team tried once again to respond and make a comeback, but they couldn’t succeed. In the end, the home team comfortably sealed the deal.
Paolo Banchero led his team to win with 35 points and ten rebounds. On the other side, Trae Young scored 31 points, while Bogdan Bogdanovic finished the game with 18 points, three rebounds, and four steals.
After 36 games, Orlando Magic has a record of 21 wins and 15 losses and will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the next game. Atlanta Hawks suffered their 21st loss and will take on the Philadelphia 76ers in their next matchup.
