Mega delivered a big surprise in the last game of the fourth round of the ABA League. Marko Barac’s team defeated Partizan 88-86.
Mega had an excellent start to the game. With better performance on both ends of the court, they took a 6-0 lead. Partizan couldn’t respond, and the home team established a double-digit lead. Partizan managed to score five points in a row at one point and reduced the deficit to 17-9. However, after the first quarter, Marko Barac’s team had a ten-point advantage.
At the start of the second quarter, the home team had a 15-point lead. Partizan responded with a 12-2 run, catching up to Mega. The Mega team countered with seven consecutive points, taking a 35-23 lead. Partizan was trailing by 15 points but managed to score four points in the final moments of the first half, going into halftime with an 11-point deficit.

The second half saw a much better start from the home team, which played brilliantly to establish a 20-point lead. Frank Kaminsky made several great plays to ignite his team. At one point, Partizan closed the gap to just six points. However, after the third quarter, Mega led 69-61.
At the beginning of the final quarter, the visitors played much better and closed the gap completely. Although the home team resisted their opponent’s surge, the game was decided in a suspenseful finish. Mega led 86-82, but Partizan scored four consecutive points, thanks to Ognjen Jaramaz, to tie the game.
In the last possession of the game, the home team had the ball. Nikola Topic missed a shot, but Uros Plavsic grabbed an offensive rebound and secured the win for his team.
Nikola Djurisic led his team to win with 17 points, while on the other side, Aleksa Avramovic had 26.
Mega’s next opponent will be Buducnost, while Partizan will play a derby against Crvena Zvezda.
