Mike Brown was ejected from the Milwaukee Bucks โ Sacramento Kings game and decided to bring his laptop to the press conference.
Brown was ejected after reacting vehemently to the referee’s decision not to call a foul on De’Aaron Fox.
The Sacramento Kings were defeated by Damian Lillard’s three-pointer in the last second, and after that, Mike Brown had an extensive presentation at the press conference:
“I know referees David Guthrie and Brian Forte, they are excellent at their job and good people. I don’t know the third one as well, but he seems like a good man too. People make genuine mistakes, but I have to show you why I was thrown out of the game. This is the third quarter, 1:28 remaining. You can go back and look – Fox barely puts his hand on Dame’s side, okay? Accidental contact, he didn’t push him or anything, he barely put his hand. They gave him three free throws.
I’m seeking clarification
At halftime, we were, I think, 19-5 in favor of free throws. I know that sometimes happens, but it’s very frustrating. What they keep telling me – Malik goes, Lopez comes and goes vertically with the forearm here. According to what the NBA tells me, the rule is that if you’re going vertical, you have to have both hands up. Domantas often keeps his hands down, and they call a foul every time, and they say, ‘Well, he had the forearm here.‘
Tonight they said the forearm can be here, provided it’s not extended, so I don’t know what the rules are in this situation. I’m seeking clarification because, again – the rule for verticality is that you must have both hands up, but theirs were here, and they said Lopez can do that. That was a five-point difference.”
