Monaco continued with excellent performances, as Sasa Obradovic’s team defeated Barcelona in the last game of the 17th round of the EuroLeague with a score of 91-71.
Monaco had a fantastic start to the game. With excellent defensive play, Obradovic’s team took a 14-3 lead at the beginning of the match. Barcelona managed to find a good offensive rhythm towards the end of the first quarter. However, after ten minutes of play, the score was 27-15 in favor of the home team.
At the beginning of the second quarter, the home team extended their lead to 30-15. Barcelona scored five consecutive points, signaling better things to come. However, Obradovic’s team quickly responded. With excellent offensive play and three-pointers, Monaco built a 16-point lead. They went into halftime with a score of 47-36.
