Darko Rajakovic secured his second win as the head coach of the Toronto Raptors, as the Canadian team defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 130-111.
After an impressive debut and a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the opening game of the NBA season, Rajakovic’s team experienced three consecutive losses. However, they managed to break this streak on the night between Wednesday and Thursday with a win against one of the strongest teams in the Eastern Conference.
The Raptors primarily relied on a strong defense prepared by Rajakovic in this game. They limited the stars of the Milwaukee team, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, to 16 and 15 points, respectively.
By halftime, the Raptors had a +22 lead and smoothly finished the job with 26 points from Pascal Siakam and 24 points from Dennis Schroder.
