Last season, Vincent Poirier averaged 19 minutes per game over 37 appearances. He recorded nine points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game, effectively stepping in for Walter Tavares.
Despite his playing time, Poirier led the EuroLeague in blocked shots with 54.
In the Liga Endesa, he posted averages of 8.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks while playing less than 19 minutes per game.
He will join Rolands Smits on a newly built Anadolu Efes frontcourt line for the 2024/2025 season. Vincent Poirier brings high-level play and plenty of experience to an Anadolu Efes side looking to bounce back under head coach Tomislav Mijatovic, as Efes has failed to make the playoffs in each of the last two seasons.
The French national team announced on social media their preliminary roster for the Olympic Games, featuring 19 players competing for a spot, including the new Anadolu Efes player.
