Virtus secured another win over Tortona by 83:77 in the Game 2 of the quarterfinal playoff series in Serie A.
Virtus, the top-seeded team after the regular season, now leads the quarterfinals against Tortona with a 2-0 advantage.
Virtus controlled the game from start to finish, unlike the first game. They never had a significant lead, but it was evident that they controlled the rhythm of the game and directed it in the way they wanted.
In the end, Marco Belinelli was the top scorer for the winning team with 22 points, Jordan Mickey contributed 17, and Isaia Cordinier added 14 points. On the other side, Arturs Strautins led the scoring with 14 points, Retin Obasohan added one less, Tommaso Baldasso contributed 10 points.
In the second game of the day, Venezia defeated Reggiana on their home court by 83:75, leveling the series at 1-1.
The top scorer for the winning team was Marco Spissu with 18 points, while Mfiondu Kabengele added 15. In the losing team, Langston Galloway was the only player in double digits with 26 points.
