Wade Baldwin announced that he is leaving the club after winning the title with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israeli Super League.
The superstar powerhouse from Tel Aviv had a brilliant season behind him, but evidently believes that he will fare better in another club.
Maccabi Tel Aviv clinched their 57th Israeli Super League title by defeating Hapoel Tel Aviv 82-74 (2-1 in the final series), but Wade Baldwin didn’t have a good game. The American only scored five points.
The most deserving of Maccabi Tel Aviv’s victory was Roman Sorkin with 19 points, while Tyler Ennis stood out for Hapoel Tel Aviv with 17 points.
“This is my last game with Maccabi Tel Aviv,” Wade Baldwin said in a statement reported by Sport 5.
Baldwin finished the EuroLeague season with averages of 17.4 points and 4.9 assists per game.
