The Washington Wizards are evidently set to make many changes to their roster next summer.
The reason for this decision is that the Washington Wizards hold the second and 26th picks in the upcoming NBA Draft. This provides a solid foundation for planning a rebuild now.
According to information from Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Kyle Kuzma is expected to be on the trade list, and many teams will be interested in him. It is worth noting that the Dallas Mavericks showed interest in Kyle Kuzma in February.
“There was a point in time, Dallas, they definitely did want me. (Michael) Winger presented me with what the trade was and obviously didn’t want to trade me and kind of left the decision up to me a little bit and asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to stay and continue to build something. And that was kind of the end of it” – Kuzma said in February.
Kyle Kuzma has a three-year contract with the Washington Wizards, under which he will earn $20,000,000 per season.
Kyle Kuzma has been one of the best players for the Wizards this season, averaging 22.2 points per game.
