BC Wolves secured a win on the road against Rytas with a score of 84-74 in the 11th round of the Lithuanian national championship.
The first quarter passed in complete score equality, with Rytas players slightly more content as they went into halftime with a slim lead of 19-18. The guests, led by the in-form Arnas Berucka, managed to create two mini-runs, resulting in a halftime turnaround and a score of 39-35 in their favor.
Rytas regained the lead in the second half and maintained it for much of the third quarter. However, Wolvesi finished that period better, entering the final 10 minutes with a slim lead of 59-57. With a 7-0 run in the middle of the fourth quarter, the guests established a double-digit advantage, proving crucial in the final triumph with a score of 84-74.
Robert Cole was the top scorer for Rytas with 16 points, while Wolves’s standout player was Arnas Berucka with 20 points.
Wolves remain the leaders in the standings with a record of 10 wins and only one loss, while Rytas is now in third place with a record of 9-2.
In addition to the above-mentioned game, there was also a match between Mazeikiai and Gargzdai, which was won by the home team with a score of 77-66.
