Zaccharie Risacher is one of the most prominent names in the upcoming NBA draft, and the Bourg player spoke to “Sportal” about his prospects.
His team reached the EuroCup final, while in the LNB Pro A, they were stopped by the current country champion, Monaco. Many NBA scouts were regular attendees at Bourg’s games, all there to see Zaccharie Risacher.
“I haven’t talked to anyone yet. I’ve seen scouts courtside at my club’s playoff games, but I haven’t had any conversations with the Atlanta Hawks or the San Antonio Spurs. I just wanted to focus on finishing the season. It’s the same with the San Antonio Spurs, I haven’t had conversations with them either, despite knowing that their scouts have been watching my games this season.
I’m ready to do whatever the coach wants and whatever the team needs. Maybe I’ll be handling the ball and playing with it, but it also depends on the team I end up with. I’m still not fully aware of everything, but now things are slowly becoming more real and realistic. I can’t wait to see what awaits me next season,” said Zaccharie Risacher.
His time at Asvel and the decision to move to Bourg
“It was great, a dream season. At Asvel, I wanted more balls in my hands and more responsibility, but they were playing in the EuroLeague, so it wasn’t possible at the time. Now I’m happy with the decision I made and the season I had in Bourg.”
