Zalgiris defeated Lietkebalis in Panevezys by 90:89, taking a 2-0 lead in the Lithuanian Basketball League semifinal series.
The team coached by Nenad Canak put up a commendable performance on their home court, winning the first and third quarters, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win. A crucial basket by Kevarrius Hayes with five seconds remaining ensured the win for Andrea Trinchieri’s team.
