Zeljko Obradovic shared his impressions at the press conference after Partizan‘s defeat to Crvena Zvezda.
Zeljko Obradovic was not satisfied with how his team played during the first half.
,,Clearly, we played two different halves. We started in a very poor way, they hit three consecutive three-pointers. They quickly took the lead, and that defined the first half. The team’s reaction in the second half was fantastic, and in that regard, I am proud of them. We found ourselves in a position where we could have won the game.
A much better second half, and I congratulate the players for that, as well as Crvena Zvezda on the win. It was an interesting game in the sense that they dominated in the first half. There are some other things I wouldn’t like to comment on. We’ll review and see exactly what happened.”
,,I believe they were also aware of the performance they displayed in the first half. Everything we didn’t do well in the first part, we did in the second. From defense to aggressiveness and reading Crvena Zvezda’s defense against attacks.”
Zeljko Obradovic also commented on the performance of Zach LeDay.
,,Two technical fouls result in an ejection. He was motivated, provided the initial boost and enthusiasm for the team. Whether he was overly nervous, I can’t say. It wasn’t just him involved. Targeting only one player and saying he’s the one, I don’t know if it’s fair.
Everyone should stay calm and contribute to the atmosphere on the court. There were actions from both sides. You saw the players’ greetings, what happens on the court stays on the court, and that’s it.”
